YEAH~

City Venture '07 is a huge success! And it's over le~, although we felt emptiness when it's over. Nevertheless, I still feel very happy that it's over and everything is great~!!!

We did have some little hipccups here and there. But overall the event run pretty smoothly. Receive great compliments frm contestants and the seniors. SRC President Marcus commented that becoz our event is a very large-scale one, so he wld expect problems coming up, but there isn't much. Just small little hippcups. So Yeah~ We Rockz. Most imptly, the weather is great man. Haha. NO rain and not too much sun. So i don't think there's anyone who suffered dehyration or heat stroke. LOL.

Sat evening we started registering at 4, and our 1st theme started at 5 sharp. The 1st theme (food theme) revolved around the west area. And the teams have to plan their own route. They plan which station they want to go first. Food theme includes "十字路口" and some that involve them to taste some food. Then at 8 pm is the start of the Shopping theme, GMs are stationed in some shopping centres and they need to play some games tt involved the shopping centres.

Then, the pit-stop for the night is at JJC and they have to reach by 11.15pm. Basically some teams were late for the pit-stop, and got penalised. Bcoz we GMs, were heading towards JJC too, and we saw at least 3 teams on the same train as us. And we purposely alight one stop b4 the actual stop so that they can't follow us. In fact, we're not sure of the exact location, ended up calling our IC a few times for directions. LOL.

The whole committee nv slp much lar. Coz by the time we(gals) bathe, it's alr 3am in the morning. And we played murderer till arnd 4.30am. Then sth happen and by the time we settle the problem, it's alr 5. And we have to get ready by 6.15 for our briefing. Some of us went up to the alumni room to slp (air-con room). But bcoz they have to switched on the light when we slp, i can't slp. Coz the light is directly above me. LOL. And by the time i roll over to under a table and in a nice position, some ppl came to woke us up. Hahas.

Sunday morning we started our Sports & Adv theme at 7.30. Located in the east side.Some games that involve them to do sth physical. My station is called the musical chairs. Though it's not much of sports. But somehow it gets me and christine in sweat. It seems that we sweat more than the players when they are playing the game. LOL. Nxt we start our Fear Factor theme at 2pm. Located in town area. Again, my station is more of pure luck. It's either u win or u lose. And the points are very direct. But some teams did grumble lar. Especially my OG frens's team. They complaint "why my station always heng suay de?" LOL. Too bad.

The whole event's final stop is at esplanade which ends at arnd 6pm after all the presentations of prizes. Then our committee took alot of photos and had some de-brief. After which we went to raffles city for our dinner. Some of them continue their craze and go Kbox after dinner lar. None of them have enough slp and they continue with the kbox-ing. I dunno what time they sing till. But yeah~ they are really crazy!!! Hahaha.
